A wonderful example of a famous Deltadromeus Agilis [Delta Runner] vertebra displaying mineralisation is seen within the fossil layers discovered near the enclave of Taouz in southern Morocco, exhibiting the authentic and archetypal structure of a Deltadromeus dinosaur vertebra.
Thousands of dinosaur specimens have been discovered over 3 decades and around 5% of these are in the top 90% of best specimens. It is very rare to locate and excavate Deltadromeus agilis dinosaur fossils.
With extremely light anatomy combined the Deltadromeus' agility made this dinosaur a successful predator in its time. Whilst also hosting the signature of evolution for this particular species and 99,000,000 years of lineage refined the evolutionary weapons to effectively tackle its prey with ease with an ability to tear apart carcasses with surgical precision. Overall an exceptional discovery for such a Deltadromeus agilis dinosaur vertebra.
